Think about the title of this letter for a second. It's simple, right?
Getting fit and healthy at ANY age is simple, it really is. It's a matter of following a handful of basic principles of good health and fitness and being mind numbingly consistent with it.
But let's take a step back for a moment.
Ask yourself this question: "How many times have I looked in the mirror and wished I saw something different?" That soft, squishy body staring back at you and the feeling of hopelessness thinking about how long it will take to shed those layers of fat..
It's daunting if not downright overwhelming. I know because I WAS that dad for years. And it was because I put everything (my family, my job, my house, my bills, and even my pets) before me.
And I suffered greatly. My health was OK, but not great. My body was just meh. My energy sucked and I lived on caffeine (Red Bulls for me) to help me get through each day.
